Cincinatti
Here I am. Over 1200 miles from San Marcos, TX with a friend who invited me up on a whim. The trip has been very interesting so far. Most of it on the road. 20 hours of driving. Suprisingly, not a lot of conversation. I guess we both had a lot we were thinking about. Me - thinking about my future life > school, work, direction, meeting Michael's family, how this weekend will go, how my hair looks - things like that. Miohael about his future in Germany, all the friends he's left behind, family and such.
Last night, we drove from Houston to just north of Nashville, Tennessee. A long drive needless to say. Michael and I interchanged driving positions while the other generally napped. Saw lots of country. Lots of the world I have never seen before. I've seen the climate change dramatically, as well as the enviroment. It's quite hilly up here.
It's quite an eye-opening experience, just simply road tripping to places you've never been before. The whole time I've been mesmerized by the world around me. Trying to understand it. Quitely thinking and reflecting on what I've seen.
I'll be honest. I don't know what I will be doing up here the next few days. But i'm here and I will try to make the absolute best of it. Michael's family seem generally awesome. The triplets are so unique and lively, and of course the parents are wonderful.
So, here I am. A few days here, then driving back by myself to San Marcos.
