Details.

I haven't updated in awhile, so I thought it would be a good time to catch all you avid readers up :).
These two jobs I have been working, The Daycare and the Lawncare and Maintenance jobs, have been two of the greatest blessings of my life! They are both teaching me so much, and are very challenging in both their different ways.
Now when people ask what I do, I usually tell them I work two jobs, and if they ask more specifically what types of jobs, I tell them. But there is a lot more than just going to two jobs. There is so much more in between all the lines. There are so many details / emotions / challenges that go into my daily life that I feel never gets the chance to be voiced.
Behind the scenes I am spending time with friends. I attended two weddings this weekend, I've been involved with the Methodist church ministry, I am active in Campus Crusade for Christ and the people / relationships there, I'm trying to build my relationship with my parents, And I am "talking" with a girl...
My uncle has been instilling his wisdom in me from his years of experience working manual labor jobs. That it is all about the details. From work to just the daily grind of life. It is the details that count, and the details that make the difference.

So, while I am working two jobs, there is a lot that goes on between that. I am learning that you should never dismiss any of life. You should always try your hardest at work / school and pay attention to all the details. You should also have people in your life that you can share those details with. You SHOULD NOT come home from work and when someone asks you what you did today, simply say "I worked - it was a hard day". Well it is always a hard day!@ Why was it hard? What did you do? What can make it better next time? Share the details with people! It is the spice of life and it is where you learn from.
