New life

Fall is the season of changes, so they say..
After a year plus hiatus from college, I return once again this Fall 2006! Fresh with a new major (Social Work), I feel.. not quite ready to go back yet, but willing to take the plunge. Having direction is definently a plus, and I feel so many positive changes have happened since I last was in school.
I just moved into a 1-bedroom apartment - by myself for the first time. It is exciting, but also a lot.. different. More freedom it seems, but also more responsibility.
My two jobs that sustained me this summer just ended. Friday the daycare closed it facilities permanently, and then Saturday I had to retire (quit) my job in Wimberley due to school.
So with that, I'm again looking at the job market here in San Marcos.
Also, I am getting involved with this amazing ministry at the Methodist Church, called the Stephen's Ministry.
But not all changes have been easy. My first real relationship ended abruptly, and it's not easy to let that go. But it all has its own specfic purpose, and I'm grateful for what I have learned through it.
So this Fall is truly the season of changes. I'm looking forward to it, but I also am aware that this is going to be a very challenging semester with school and all. I feel like I haven't been in school in such a long time, I forget what to expect.. Wish me luck!
