What have I been up to?
In case you cared, this is what I have been up to this summer:
I have been working at Wonder World as a tour guide. This has been good experience learning how to get in front of groups of people, and public speaking (for like 3 hours every day-that will get you comfortable real quick). I get paid $4.50 / hr + $3.75 commision per tour + tips. Not to shabby.. I will not be working there after August 13th - I have to get a job probably as a waiter during this upcoming semester.
I've been doing a good ammount of reading (although not as much as I had intended to). Read 'Way of the Peaceful Warrior' which was great, "Living, Loving, and Learning' (which im not quite through) but quite possibly one of the best books i've read, 'The Road Less Traveled', and some 'Jonathan Edwards'. Quite honestly, work took up more time than I thought, but in a good way.
I've spent a good ammount of time hanging out with the likes of Coal Beirswhalehiliaramalamdingdong, Matt Luna, Kyle English, Austin Dykes, Michael Rice, my roommates, Sandy, Lindsay, and yes Andrew Schwiklerhawkaloogihippo. We recently floated the SAN MARCOS RIVER, which was sa-weet.
Other than that, trying to figure out the direction I want my life to go on. So if you know a good direction to go, please, please give me directions :)
I am not taking school this next semester, so I WILL be working, librariazing (aka reading), and hopefully hanging out with cool people... alot.
That is NOT all she wrote folks. But that is all I am going to write for now.
